Betty J. Turner Shiflet, age 75, of Speedwell, TN, passed away March 6, 2010. Born Aug. 18, 1934 to the late Hugh & Reba Berry Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Buford Shiflet. She was a member of Speedwell Academy Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Son: Bobby L. (& Kathy) Shiflet of Paris, KY, Daughter: Renee Shiflet of Speedwell, TN, Sisters: Donna Pique of Knoxville, TN, Linda Taylor of Pennington Gap, VA, Grandsons: Wesley Shiflet and Warren Shiflet Lil Clifford and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.

Funeral services were held 8 PM Tuesday with Dr. Rob Haynes officiating at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel. The family received friends from 5-8.

Graveside were Wednesday 11 AM at Blue Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Kelly Taylor III, Tony Pique, Johnny Thompson, Jimmy Thompson, Mike Alsup, Robbie Haynes.
