Gap golf moves on to regionals

The Cumberland Gap Panthers had a great showing at the 2017 district golf outing.

The Cumberland Gap Lady Panthers were able to finish as district runner-up during this season’s tournament. Carley Downour was the low medalist with an 85. With the runner-up position, the Lady Panthers as a team were to travel on to Elizabethton to participate in the regional tournament that began Monday.

The members are sophomore Carley Downhour and freshman Cayden Walker. Peyton Wilder, a freshman, qualified for regionals also on the boys’ side with a great individual performance.
