He was preceded in death by his parents: Henderson and Bonnie Lamb Brogans; sister: Lillie Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years: Selda Beeler Brogans; step-children: Barbara Epperson, Stanley Jordan all of New Tazewell; step grandchildren: Nicholas and Nathan Epperson; sisters: Betty Shiplet of New Tazewell, Anna Brooks of Pelhan, Nc., Snowbird Darby of Pine Bluff, Ar.; brother: Henderson and Judy Brogans Jr. of New Tazewell; sister-in-law: Hazel Hilleary of New Tazewell; special friend: Shorty Mullins of New Tazewell; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services were Wednesday, January 23 at 2 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Epperson officiating.
