Claiborne Riders Win Awards

Three riders from Steppin' High Stables in Tazewell recently received awards in Newport for the 2007 season of United Racking Horse Owners & Exhibitors Association (URHOEA). Pictured are (back, l. to r.) Bobbie Blankenship, High Point Champion in Tennessee and Virginia for the Ladies Division; High Point Champion in Virginia for 3-Year Old and Style Division. Bobbie is the daughter of Kathy Blankenship and Carlson Robinette in New Tazewell. Also pictured is Brooke Donesky, High Point Champion in Tennessee and Virginia for Juvenile (17 and under) Division. Brooke is the daughter of Dr. Melvin and Sandy Donesky of New Tazewell. Pictured in front is Lilly Cope, Reserve High Point Champion in Tennessee and Virginia for Juvenile Division. Lilly is the daughter of James Cope and Stephanie Smith of New Tazewell. They would like to thank everyone at the barn for their help and support. The girls are looking forward to the 2008 season, which starts in late March.
