The Monday night Ladies Scramble will begin on Monday, May 5th at 6 p.m. Please call the Club-house at 626-6010 by 4 p.m. if you are going to play so they can make up the teams.

On Tuesday, starting May 6th at 9:30 a.m. the ladies will start their year. They will also play on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. If you plan on playing, please call 626-6010 and let them know. You do not have to be a Woodlake Member to play with them. All are welcome!

The Friday Night Couples Scramble has started and will play each Friday night at 5:30 p.m. Please call ahead.

Top Dogs All-Star Cheerleading Sign-Ups

Top Dogs All-Star Cheerleading Sign-Ups will be Thursday, May 1, at the TNT Primary School Gym from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The $35 fee will go toward first month's tuition.

Basketball Tournament at Grace Christian Academy

There will be a basketball tournament at Grace Christian Academy on May 1-3 for boys and girls ages 8 and under and 9-14. Entry fee is $150 per team. Each team is guaranteed three games.

T.N.T. Little League Football and Cheerleading

The T.N.T Youth Football will be holding registration for football and cheerleading for the 2008 season at R.O. Giles Field (beside Soldiers Memorial Middle School) on the following dates from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

May 17, 24, and 31 (last three Saturdays in May)

Age requirements: age 5 before Aug. 1 thru age 12 after Aug 1. Students playing for the 7-8 grade middle school team are NOT eligible for the Youth Football program.

The following will be needed to complete registration, a copy of the child's birth certificate, medical insurance information, and a legal parent or guardian signature. Applications will NOT be accepted without a birth certificate. Limited number of participants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. May 31 is registration DEADLINE. No applications will be accepted after this day.

2nd Annual Heritage Baptist Academy Golf Tournament

The 2nd Annual Heritage Baptist Academy golf tournament will be held Friday May 9 at Woodlake Golf Course with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places as well as closest to the Pin and Longest Drive.

Claiborne County Fair Association and Tazewell Jaycees First Annual Poker Run

Claiborne County Fair Association and Tazewell Jaycees present their First Annual Poker Run, scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at the Claiborne County Fairgrounds in Tazewell. Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. and will pull out at 12 p.m.

All proceeds go to the 2008 Christmas Food Basket Fund. Prizes will be awarded and a concession will be available on site.
