Miss Hazel Jones, age 90 of Mulberry, TN was born on May 15, 1918 and passed away on May 26, 2008. She was a member of Little Mulberry Baptist Church. She retired from East Tennessee Area Office on Aging. She loved and devoted her life to farming.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Ema (Fletcher) Jones, nephew, James Jones, 2-sisters, Mae Hensley and Belle Lane and a very special great nephew, Jacob Jones.

She is survived by her very special niece, Mary Jones of Mulberry, TN of where she made her home for more than 50 years. Special nephews, David Jones and Brenda of Thorn Hill, TN, Kenneth Jones and Donna of Tazewell, TN, special great-great nephews, Michael Jones of Thorn Hill, TN, Matthew Jones of Tazewell, TN, John Jones of Thorn Hill, TN, sisters, Pauline Martin of Mulberry, TN and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Claiborne Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mitch Burke and Reverend Jay Sulfridge officiating. Music will be provided by John Jones.

Pallbearers Michael Jones, Matthew Jones, John Jones, Dennis Jones, Doug Ramsey and Issac Hopkins.

Family and friends will meet for graveside services at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Fairview Cemetery in Tazewell.
