Mutual aid requested in fire

The Harrogate Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Meadows Street in Harrogate just behind Shawanee Church. Claiborne 911 received the call of a residential fire just after 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 12. Harrogate Volunteer Fire Department and the Cumberland Gap Volunteer Fire Department responded with mutual aid. The fire was put out quickly and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
