Reba was a strong, Christian woman. Although blessed with a wonderful life, she knew that these things which are seen are temporal and she never lost sight of those things which are eternal. Reba looked forward to that glad reunion day when she would be with her Lord and the many loved ones who have gone on before her.
Those having gone on before her, include Reba’s parents, Henry and Ida Berry, 10 siblings, her husband, Hugh Patton Turner, and her son-in-laws, Buford Shiflet and Kelly D. Taylor, II. We have no doubt that this was a glad reunion day.
Reba leaves behind 3 daughters, Betty Shiflet, Donna Pique and Linda Taylor; 8 grandchildren, Bobby Shiflet and wife, Kathy, Renee Shiflet, Tony Pique, Kelly Taylor, III, and wife, Tammy, Tanya Alsup and husband, Mike, Shannon Haynes and husband, Robby, Ketasha Tabor and husband, Mikhael, Lindse Taylor and Travis Darnell; 10 great-grandchildren, Wesley Shiflet, Warren Shiflet, Lauren Taylor, Kelly Taylor, IV, Ellen Taylor, Taylor Alsup, Claudia Alsup, Nathan Turner Haynes, Caleb Haynes and Hannah Haynes; and special niece, Blanch Berry Welch.
Proverbs 31:28 “Her children arise up, and call her blessed…” We have been blessed.
