Ted Ford, age 72 of New Tazewell, TN was born on August 31, 1936 and passed away on November 6, 2008. He was saved and joined MCM Baptist Church. He retired from Bushline after 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: J. B. and Lillie Ford; Brothers: Clyde, Bill, Roffie, Noah and Walter Ford; Sisters: Eula Killion, Glossie Rosson, Hazel Duncan. He is survived by his Wife of 52 years: Cleo (Keck) Ford of New Tazewell, TN; Sons: Keith Ford and wife Lori of New Tazewell, TN, Teddy Ford and wife Arleen of New Tazewell, TN, Craig Ford of New Tazewell, Tn; Daughters: Elaine Maloyed and husband Thompy of Tazewell, VA, Priscilla Moore and husband David of Stanfordville, NY, Caroline Story and husband Paul of Knoxville, TN, Janice Sweet and Mike Crawford of New Tazewell, TN, Sharon Seals and husband Tony of Tazewell, TN; Sisters: Joyce Ford Keck of New Tazewell, TN, Dossie Ford Widner of Knoxville, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Seth Sweet, James and Anna Maloyed, Travis Maloyed, Samantha Moore, Conner Moore, Paul Story II, Hunter Story, Haley Seals; 1 Great grandchild: Raylynn Sweet.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Claiborne Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Drummonds and Revrend Verlin Vittoe officiating. Music will be provided by Edith Fultz. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Fords Chapel Cemetery for graveside services. Pallbearers: Grandsons and Sons-in-laws.
