God is in charge

To the Editor:

I have always liked the 23rd Psalm but had never really studied it like I did when I faced the giant in my life. God showed me to trust him as my Good Shepherd. He is in charge and the one in control. As David killed the lion, bear, and the giant in his life. He helps us to trust him, to face the giant in our life.

I saw after reading this Psalm in the book, “GOD’S PSYCHIATRY,” that I really hadn’t trusted God like I should. As I went to the Oncologist in Feb. I had a trust in God and my doctor, It seemed like such a blackness in that room as he told me my diagnosis, and that I had 3-5 years to live. I had taken a scripture from my scripture box that morning too. For nothing is impossible with God, Luke 1:37.

Then I went over to the radiation doctor and he said I needed some radiation treatment. He said I had places pressing against my spinal cord in my pelvic, and cervical area in my neck. He said if I didn’t get radiation to my neck area, I would be paralyzed. The next day the treatments were started for ten days. Each day I took a scripture, this one said He is guiding me along the best pathway for my life. He will advice me and watch over me. Psalm 32:8.

Each time I got on the table for my radiation teatment I prayed for God to guide the beams to the cancer and leave my good cells along. I had such a revealing of the 23rd Psalm I was not afraid. I was able to witness to the workers and everywhere I went. The next day I took another scripture that said, The Lord is my rock and my fortress, my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust, the horn of my Salvation and my high tower. Psalm 18:2 The Good Shepherd was guiding me along the way as I faced the giant in my life. I had to keep trusting in him to guide my every step and let him be in charge. He showed me to trust and rest in him, he is in charge and continues to guide. More next time.

Fulfill your life

To the Editor:

Let’s talk about the way to fulfill our life! The way we do this is to keep God’s commandments. Are you searching for life’s meaning? If there is someone that needs to receive Jesus as your Saviour, ask Him into your heart. If there is someone that reads this, and you are already a Christian, but you haven’t found this complete life in Christ, keep God’s commandments, go to church and pray. When we are Faithful to do these things, we will find life’s meaning!

I was a witness to two gentlemen last week. There was a little boy up in a tree, the leaves were falling. I looked up in the tree to see the little boy. I told him how to be saved. There was great joy as I did this! I saw a wonderful picture of Zacchaeus, as he went up in the tree to see Jesus! My phone number is 626-2386.
