Students at Cumberland Gap High School honored veterans with a program on Wednesday. The different branches of the Armed Forces were each recognized. Pictured here are some U.S. Navy Veterans who were in attendance.
Several area schools held Veteran's Day programs Wednesday to honor those who have served in the country's various Armed Forces.

Claiborne High School and Cumberland Gap High School each honored veterans with a meal before the program, and veterans and their families were invited to attend.

The program at CHS included a remembrance of 9/11, as well as a presentation with photos of veterans related to the students, faculty and staff.

CGHS students honored veterans with readings, music and more. The Pantherettes danced "The Charleston" to take those in attendance back in time.

Each program was well attended by veterans and the public alike.

For more photos of Veteran's Day programs, see the Nov. 16 edition of the Claiborne Progress.
