The 2011 Forge Ridge Lady Dragons were recently presented their 2011 Claiborne County 7th and 8th grade middle school tournament championship banner. The title was the very first championship won by their 7th and 8th grade basketball program in the history of the school. The banner was donated by Rex Callebs of The Sports Center in Tazewell and will be placed in the gymnasium. The 2011 team members included: Tessa Brooks, Cassandra Yeary, Paige Gilbert, Faith Pendleton, Mikayla Daniels, Megan Daniels, Ashley Thompson, Emily Ball, Abby Dishner, Raley Boatright with Head Coach Jimmie Sue Woods and Assistant Coach Jeff Brooks, who is not pictured. Also pictured is Forge Ridge Principal Marty Cosby.
