Tell us about your "Most Romantic" experiences! The Claiborne Progress, along with Mary's Home Furnishings and Oakwood Surplus Barn, are sponsoring a "Virtual Valentine" contest.
We want to hear your story! In 200 words or less, tell us about your most romantic date, anniversary, proposal or place in town. Submissions can be entered on our website beginning February 6 and voting on the website will begin February 19. Voting will end March 3 and winners will be announced afterward. Several sponsor locations will accept entries as well.
"We are excited to hear local love stories," said Alan Jessie, owner of Do Drop In. "We're looking forward to being a part of this contest, and we'll have a place in our restaurant for customers to enter their stories as well."
There will be one grand prize winner, plus prize winners in each category. Category sponsors include Do Drop In, S&S Doors, Natural Herbs and More and Dixie Plaza Motel.
