A wreck in Harrogate this afternoon sent one person to the hospital.

According to witnesses at the scene, a tractor trailer and Chevrolet Camaro collided at the intersection of US Hwy. 25E and Forge Ridge Rd. in Harrogate. It appeared that the driver of the Camaro was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Forge Ridge Road from the southbound land of Hwy. 25E when the tractor-trailer, traveling northbound, hit the Camaro in the passenger side.

The driver of the Camaro, who has not been identified, was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Several law enforcement and emergency personnel responded to the scene. The accident is under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
