Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Smith were married July 16, 1951, in Butcher Hollow, Ky., by her uncle. She is a first cousin to Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gale. Her dad was a coal miner. They have two children. One son, three grandsons, three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter live in Indiana and one daughter resides at home. They have had a great life together. They are members of Caney Valley American Christian Church. Mr. Smith is the son of the late Tilmon H. Smith of Claiborne County. They live in the Howards Quarter area. They will celebrate with their children at a later date.
