The letter that was submitted by Dave (Coach) Chesney in his political advertisement, with my signature on it was a form letter thanking all participants and donors for supporting the Forge Ridge Athletic Golf Tournament.
I am appalled that he would use this thank you letter for his political gain. I did not give him permission to use my name! Since the advertisement has ran, I have asked Mr. Chesney several times to remove my name from anything associated with his.
I have been an educator and coach for 30 years and have never had to deal with such a ridiculous situation. I am truly sorry this has put a damper on what this tournament was truly for, the children.
I am not a supporter of Dave (Coach) Chesney or anyone else that would abuse the good faith of everyone that this tournament was for.
I hope that this letter clears up any confusion that may have been caused by Dave Chesney and his political ads.
