August 8th- The Tennessee Smokies once again welcomed the Huntsville Stars into Kodak, Tennessee and were looking to make some ground up in the Southern League, North Division but things did not go as planned. In the opening inning the visitors put three runs up on the scoreboard. The Smokies tried to rally and scored a single run in their half of the first and then added another run in the bottom of the second but gave up four more runs to lose the contest 7-2. The Smokies will now focus on getting the much needed wins in the four remaining games of this series that ends on Sunday, August 12th.
