Several members from Cumberland Mountain Industries (CMI) and Claiborne High School participated in the Special Olympics State Basketball Tournament in Nashville Tennessee. The event took place the weekend of March 13 through March 15 at Lipscomb University, home of the Bisons. The team won 3 out 4 games to take second place in the tournament. Area 17 Special Olympians are from left to right: coach Keith Hubbard, Rusty Kibert, David Edwards, Eugene Bently, Mike Payne, Berry Turner, Sheila Daniels, Kathy Day, Derick Cole, and Coach Todd Smith. Congratulations team for a job well done.
