Claiborne High scrimmaged the Tigers from Pigeon Forge on Friday, July 31st. Offensively the Bulldogs moved the ball down the field with ease aided by several big running and passing plays. Early on the hard-hitting Bulldog defense looked very good but gave up some big plays as the scrimmage was concluding. The Bulldogs open play on August 21st but will use the remaining time to address weaknesses that were seen during the scrimmage. Head Coach Barry Liles and staff seemed satisfied with most of the scrimmage and look anxious to continue preparing the team for the opening day kickoff.
