He is survived by his: Wife of 56 years: Myrtle Davis of New Tazewell, TN, Daughter: Shirlena Allen of Hamilton, OH, Son: Kyle Davis and wife Dianna of New Tazewell, TN, Granddaughters: Lacey Allen of Hamilton, OH, Kyla Allen of Hamilton, OH, Grandson: Casey Davis of New Tazewell, TN, Brother: Barry Davis and wife Dorothy of Tazewell, TN, Sister-in-law: Carolyn Johnson and husband John of Bardstown, KY

Brother-in-law: Alonzo Carmony and wife Louise of Chesapeake, VA, Eddie Carmony and wife Wanda of Hamilton, OH. Several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family received friends on Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 12 noon until 2 PM at Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 2PM in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Murphy Buell officiating.
