Mr. Malcolm Harrison Walker age 93 of Sharps Chapel, TN was born March 7, 1916 and passed away October 10, 2009 at this home. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 77 years and a Deacon for 47 years.

He is preceded in death by his:

First wife Hadley Beeler Walker

Daughter: Sandra Gail Walker Hopson

Parents: Timothy and Minty Walker

Six sisters and one brother

He is survived by his:

Wife of 58 years: Laura Lou Sharp Walker of Sharps Chapel, TN

Children: Neal Walker and wife June of Maynardville, TN

Hodge Walker and wife Carolyn of Sharps Chapel, TN

Jerry Walker and wife Vickie of Sharps Chapel, TN

Inez Brogan and husband Jack of Sharps Chapel, TN

One sister: Opal McBride of Sharps Chapel, TN

Fourteen Grandchildren

Twenty-five Great grandchildren

Eleven Great Great Grandchildren

And a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 12, 2009 from 5 PM until 8PM at Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 13 at 11AM in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jason Walker and Elder Trevor Bean officiating. Music will be provided by Jerry McBee. Burial will follow in the Stiner Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Timmy Bowen, Randal Walker, Rocky Walker, Tobby Walker, Jason Walker, Scott Queener, and Keith Beason.
