of Bean Station
formerly of Tazewell, TN passed away October 10,2009 at his home. He was born May 5, 1930 to the late Willie & Zona Moyers Evans. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: the mother of his children - Jean Cook Evans Short, grandson – Christopher Darrell Evans, brothers: Roy, Herman, Millard, Grantville and Robert Lee Evans, sisters: Lula Gilbert, Irene Kipf, Flossie Turner, half-sisters: Cora Evans and Florence McNew. He was of the Baptist faith.

Grandson & fiancée Travis Evans & Mandy Marcum
Great-grandchild Haven Jean Evans all of Bean Station.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 2 pm at River View Baptist Church with burial in The River View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 pm at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel.
