A hooded suspect walked into Woody’s Pharmacy Monday morning demanding money or Oxycontin’s from the clerk at the front desk.
The man kept his hands in the front pocket of the hoodie making it appear to the clerk that he had a weapon.
The appearance of a gun made the women in the pharmacy fear for their safety.
The man fled the store driving a Ford Taurus when he thought that the cops had been called.
New Tazewell Police Department was dispatched to the pharmacy where they evaluated surveillance tapes from the incident.
Through an investigation, it was found that Brock Farley of New Tazewell was the alleged robber.
Farley was taken into custody by the New Tazewell Police Department and charged with Aggravated Robbery. He is being held in the Claiborne County Jail on a $50,000 secured bond.
