Mary Thelma Burchett age 88 of Texas and Michigan formerly of Tennessee was born January 11, 1921 and passed away November 27, 2009 in Shenandoah, Texas. Thelma grew up in Tazewell and worked for "Rosie The Riveter" building airplanes and at Oak Ridge on The Manhattan Project where she met her husband Arthur Burchett. Before her retirement, she worked at Ohio Matcha for 14 years.

She is survived by her Sons: William Stanley Burchett, Dale Edward Burchett, Duane Michael Burchett, John Thomas Burchett, 6 Grandchildren: Sandy Hill, Arthur Burchett, Lindsey Paterson, David Burchett, Garrett Burchett, Jacob Burchett, 7 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: Oscar and James Ellison

The family received friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Monday night at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Graveside service 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
