Sharon Kay ‘Mamaw’ Welch was born Nov. 30, 1948 in Splint, KY and passed away Feb. 17, 2010 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith. Proceeded in death by parents, Bonnie and James Sizemore; brother, James Ray Sizemore; and daughter, Alisha Nicole Welch.

Survivors, Sons, Neal Welch, LaFollette, TN, Ronald (Melanie) Welch, Douglas, GA; Daughter, Natasha (Tex) Bolden, New Tazewell, TN; Partner of 25 years, Harold Shiflet, Speedwell, TN; 5 grandchildren, Ashlee Welch, Autumn (Desmond) Johnson, Alexandra Epperson, April McNew and C.J. Davis; 1 great grandchild, Raymond Hamilton Johnson and soon to be great granddaughter, Savannah Rose Johnson; Brothers: Paul Sizemore, Miamisburg, OH, Lloyd Sizemore, Middletown, OH; Sisters, Kim Puckett, Carol Heitzman, Cheryl Baker all of Middletown, OH, Linda Bowlin, Hazard, KY; Very dear friend Chris Ballew; Several other family members and friends.

She was loved dearly by all who knew her and will be sadly missed.

Funeral services were 8:00 p.m. Fri., Feb. 19, 2010 at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Kojak Graves officiating.

Graveside services 2:00 p.m. Sat. at Welch Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Shiflet, Tim Roe, Roy Thacker, Rusty Patterson, Isaiah Combs and Dennis Moyers.

Honorary pallbearers, Bill Welch, Andy Welch, Tony Sumpter, Brian Welch, Jeff Welch and Desmond Johnson.
