With high winds greeting the drivers, crews and fans the hometown dirt track finally got the 2010 practice in. Several cars took to the high banks to tune and shake down their rides in preperation of the upcoming season that begins next Saturday. A great crowd witnessed the action from the stands adding to the building excitement that the new season brings. A couple of minor incidents occured on the somewhat dry-slick track with little or no damage being done to the cars. The drivers will tighten their seat belts for real this Saturday night as CJ Rayburn's National All Stars Racing Association comes to town for the much anticipated opening race featuring the Charles Trammell Memorial, a 50 lap Super Late Model feature race. Tazewell Speedway invites all area race fans out to celebrate the life of Mr. Trammell who was recently inducted into the Tazewell Speedway Hall of Fame.
