Doc's Gym hosts cage fights

The Cage Aggression Fight League came into Tazewell, Tennessee for a Saturday night of exciting fights. There was nine fights on the card in total with Claiborne fighters in three. Dean Aslinger defeated Broderick Kyles in the opening match. Kickboxer Shadee Anderson defeated Dave Lutley in match two. In match three Jeremy "Kong" Hurst defeated Michael Gorman in kickboxing. After the match Hurst talked about his win, "Its my first win and I liked it but for now I am going to focus on CHS football." When asked if he will consider doing it again he said, "Yes I probably will someday." Nick Gehrts then defeated Justin Stokes in a grappling match. Mark Nunn in his second MMA fight was taken to the limit in a fight that went all three rounds but he came away with his second MMA win over a great fighter, Derrick Hungerford. After the fight Nunn stated, "He got a kick in on me and hurt me but somehow I was able to come back and win it." Chris Berrier and Anthony Martinez got the crowd going in another kickboxing match with Berrier taking the victory in a slugfest. Martinez could have fared better providing he could have had better fitting headgear as his kept falling off providing a distraction. In the night's seventh fight Shane hill defeated Michael Morelli in MMA action. Matt Gambriel and Nick Gehrts grappled next with Gambriel winning. The final match of the night was for the 135 pound title between Adam Hatfield and Brannon McMahan with McMahan taking the win. The crowd of a few hundred enjoyed the MMA action as local fighters went toe to toe with great fighters from all over the nation and for the most part were able to hold
