Blanche Annette Miracle Mountain was born August 4, 1913 in Speedwell, TN, only daughter of the late Lee Andrew Miracle and Lily Mae Ausmus Miracle; granddaughter of the late Dr. John Ausmus and Clarsia Ann Ausmus of Speedwell and the late J.M. and Parasitia Miracle. She passed away May 11, 2010 at her home with her loving family. She graduated from Powell Valley High School and attended Lincoln Memorial University. She and her husband owned and operated Jacksboro Confectionery, a popular luncheon bar for five years. After moving to Knoxville, she assisted her husband in operating Knox Realty. She was a member and served as historian of the Rev. Phillip Ausmus Chapter of DAR. She was active in PTA at Fleniken Elementary where she served as substitute teacher.

Surviving relatives include: Son, Johnny Mountain and wife Martha of Pasadena, CA. Grandsons: John Bowman (Bo) Mountain and wife Katie of Glendora, CA; Gabriel Drew (Gabe) Mountain of Los Angeles, CA; Great-granddaughter: Julianna Joy Mountain; Great-grandson: Jacob Thomas Mountain of Glendora, CA; Nieces: Sue Carol Perry and husband Harvey Perry of Knoxville, Kathryn Craig and husband Al of Powell, TN; Nephew: Gene & wife Fern Moyers of Westminster, MD; Special friends: Paul and Linda Evans of Knoxville, TN. She was the last of the generation of our family that we tell stories about.

The family received friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Graveside service 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Ausmus Cemetery with Rev. Lawrence Fultz. Pallbearers: Friends of the family.
