Ernest Vibert Shiflet, 86, of Speedwell, TN, passed away June 16, 2010 in Claiborne Co, TN. He was a member of Cumberland Gap Kingdom Hall and a veteran of WW II.

Preceded in death by wife, Opal Shiflet; parents, Roy and Ollie Shiflet; brothers, Eugene & Sam Shiflet; sisters, Anne Mayes, Lorene Guy, Audrey Blake and Delores Sharp.

Survivors, son, Nick (& Polly) Shiflet; daughter, Susan (& Jim) Hubbard all of Monroe, MI; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Joe (& Bonnie) Shiflet, Monroe, MI, Harold Shiflet, Jerry Shiflet, both of Speedwell, TN;Jim (& Ellen) Shiflet, WI; sisters, Madeline (& Hugh) Roe, Kokomo, IN, Wilma (& Ray) Carter, Ruth (& Henry) Welch, all of Speedwell, TN, June (& Arnold) Allen, Hawthorne, FL.

Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Reece Valley Chapel with Bro. Fred Wittkop officiating.

Burial in the Heck Family Cemetery.
