The man and woman who allegedly assaulted a police officer with an aluminum baseball bat were indicted by the Claiborne County Grand Jury.

Billy Adkins was indicted on July 16, 2010 on one count of Open Container, one count Evading Arrest, one count Resisting Arrest and one count Aggravated Assault.

Julia McMurray was indicted on one count Display of Plates, No License in Possession, Open Container, Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest and Aggravated Assault.

Other indictments that were handed down on Friday, July 16 were:

Jamie Collean Callebs – Twenty Counts Each: Theft under $500, Prescription Fraud, Forgery and Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Sell/Deliver.

Raymond Jack Hopson – Count 1: Failure to Report Annually as Sex Offender, Count 2: Failure to Report as Sex Offender Upon Reincarceration, Count 3: Driving on Revoked due to Second or Subsequent DUI Conviction.

Kelly R. Jessee – Count 1: Theft Under $500, Count 2: Forgery, Count 3: Theft Over $500; Count 1: Theft Over $1,000

Leeman Miracle, III – Count 1: Possession Schedule II with Intent to Sell/Deliver, Count 2: Unlawful Possession of Weapon.

Windell Delayne Holt – Theft Over $1,000; Count 1: Evading Arrest, Count 2: Driving on Suspended Third Offense, Count 3: Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Count 4: Criminal Impersonation.

Dustin Daniel Collins – Theft Over $1,000

John R. Elrod – Count 1: DUI, Count 2: Possession Schedule II with Intent to Sell/Deliver, Count 3: Possession Drug Paraphernalia

James Sandifer – Driving on Revoked or Suspended License

Jamie Michelle Flanary – Theft Over $10,000
