Judge Robert Estep heard several plea agreements recently, during hearings in Claiborne Sessions Court.

Christopher Joseph Snyder, 32, charged with leaving the scene of an accident and theft under $1,000, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation. Snyder forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. A hearing on Aug. 31 will determine any monetary obligations, including restitution to the victim. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.

Elizabeth M. Arriso, 26, charged with criminal impersonation, theft under $1,000 and failure to appear, was sentenced to three years ETHRA supervised probation. As a condition of her probationary status, Arriso must pay all court costs and fines in full by Nov. 10. She forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund and must pay $965 in restitution to the Lee’s Food Mart in New Tazewell. Restitution must be paid first.

Brian K. Johnston, 41, charged with criminal impersonation and theft under $500 (shoplifting), was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with four days confinement. Johnston was given credit for four days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. As a condition of his probationary status, Johnston must complete an inpatient rehabilitation program. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.

Isaiah Oneil Howard, 20, charged with criminal impersonation and driving on a revoked license, was sentenced to a concurrent six months ETHRA supervised probation with 45 days confinement. Howard was given credit for 15 days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.

Scott Douglas Hatfield, 27, charged with criminal impersonation, was sentenced to six months confinement. Hatfield was given credit for all time served from July 18 to Aug. 3. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.

Robert A. Goins, 29, charged with aggravated criminal trespassing, theft under $1,000 and driving on a revoked license, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with 45 days confinement. Goins was given credit for 13 days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. Goins must pay $193.88 in restitution to the New Tazewell Walmart and is barred from the store property. This case runs concurrently with a violation of probation one in which Goins failed to report to probation and for nonpayment of court costs, fines and supervision fees.

Kevin Tyler Jackson, 23, charged with criminal trespassing and theft under $1,000 (shoplifting), was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with eight days confinement. Jackson was given credit for eight days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. Jackson is barred from the Walmart property.

Paula Michelle Maiden, 35, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with six days confinement. Maiden was given credit for six days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and must attend the MADD Victim Impact Panel. Her driver’s license is revoked for one year.

Nancy P. Bush, 52, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with three days confinement. Bush was given credit for three days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and must attend the DUI School. Her driver’s license is revoked for one year.

Gwen Anna Marie North, 35, charged with resisting arrest, was granted a six months’ deferred judgment and sentenced to six months unsupervised probation. As a condition of her probationary status, North was ordered to pay all monetary obligations in full within 14 days of her hearing date.

Jennifer Lee Tribell, 34, charged with possession of methamphetamine, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days TDOC supervised probation with 93 days confinement. Tribell was given credit for 89 days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines beginning 30 days after release. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.

James Short, 18, charged with possession of a schedule IV and a schedule VI drugs and failure to appear, was sentenced to a effective two years ETHRA supervised probation with 14 days confinement. Short was given credit for 14 days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines. Short is eligible for unsupervised probation, once found fully compliant.This case runs concurrently with prior ones. Supervision for a previous violation of probation is to be transferred to ETHRA.

Jason A. Chumley, 32, charged with possession of a schedule II and a schedule IV drugs, was sentenced to two 11 month, 29 day sentences with eight days confinement. Chumley was given credit for eight days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines. Chumley is eligible for unsupervised probation, once all monetary obligations are met and he is found fully compliant.

Precious L. Hoskins, 41, charged with theft under $1,000 and theft under $500, was sentenced to two 11 month, 29 day sentences with eight days confinement. Hoskins was given credit for eight days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $150 to the Economic Crime Fund. Hoskins must pay $35.24 in restitution to the New Tazewell Walmart and is barred from the store property.

Samantha C. Painter, 31, charged with falsification of a drug screening, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days TDOC supervised probation with 52 days confinement. Painter was given credit for 52 days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.
