CEASE, others take a stand

In observance of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, CEASE Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Inc. invited the public to Take a Stand with them against domestic violence on Oct. 25. There was a short ceremony on the steps of the Claiborne County Courthouse. CEASE Inc. provides a 24-hour crisis hotline, as well as two emergency shelters, counseling, transportation, education, legal and systems advocacy and awareness.
