Judge Robert Estep heard several plea agreements recently, during hearings in Claiborne County Sessions Court.

Clayton Fry, 36, charged with domestic assault, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with five days confinement. Fry was given credit for five days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and must complete an anger management course. Fry is barred from any unlawful contact with his victim.

Reyes Duenz, 23, charged with reckless driving, was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation. As a condition of his probationary status, Duenz must pay all court costs in full by April 10.

James R. Hackley, 27, charged with driving under the influence, vandalism under $500 and theft under $500, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with seven days confinement. Hackley must pay at least $150 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. He must pay $200 in restitution to one of his victims and is barred from any contact with both of them. His driver’s license is revoked per the Department of Safety.

Curtis E. Rowlett Jr., 62, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with two days confinement. Rowlett must pay at least $150 per month in court costs and fines and must attend the MADD Victim Impact Panel. His driver’s license is revoked per the Department of Safety. Rowlett is eligible for unsupervised probation once all monetary obligations are met and he is found fully compliant. Probation will monitor continued treatment and compliance with Cherokee Health.

Brenda Dalton Martin, 61, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with three days confinement. Martin was given credit for three days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and must attend the MADD Victim Impact Panel. Her driver’s license is revoked per the Department of Safety.

William Lynn Treece, 48, charged with custodial interference, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days unsupervised probation. As a condition of his probationary status, Treece was ordered to pay all court costs in full within eight days of the date of his plea hearing.

Joshua A. Smith, 33, charged with the aggravated misuse of the E-911 system, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with nine days confinement. Smith must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines. He is eligible for unsupervised probation once all monetary obligations are met and he is found fully compliant.

Justin Andrew Poore, 28, charged with being absent without leave, was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation. As a condition of his probationary status, Poore must pay all court costs in full by Dec. 21.

Travis B. Marshall, 32, charged with criminal impersonation, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule III drugs and violation of the registration law, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days confinement. Marshall was given credit for 42 days of jail time already served.
