Judge Robert Estep processed several plea agreements recently, during hearings in Claiborne Sessions Court.

Jeffrey D. Lawson, 33, charged with the assault of a law enforcement officer, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days confinement. Lawson was given credit for 26 days of jail time already served.

Jessica Sulfridge, 37, charged with assault, was granted a deferred judgment of one year and sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with 17 days confinement. Sulfridge was given credit for 17 days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines must enroll in and complete an inpatient drug rehabilitation program. Sulfridge is barred from any unlawful contact with her victims.

Christopher Snyder, 32, charged with assault, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with 20 days confinement. Snyder was given credit for 20 days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and a total $2,263 in restitution to his victims. Snyder is barred from any contact with the victims and must stay at least 1,000 ft. away from their property. This sentence runs concurrently with a violation of probation case in which the judge ordered an alcohol and drug assessment be completed within 30 days of release.

Jake D. Caldwell Jr., 19, charged with possession of a weapon and violations of the driver’s license, registration and financial responsibility laws, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with 12 days confinement. Caldwell must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines. His driver’s license is revoked per the Department of Safety. This sentence runs concurrently with prior cases.

Lathan Ray Helton, 20, charged with leaving the scene of an accident and violation of the financial responsibility law, was sentenced to a concurrent 90 days unsupervised probation. As a condition of his probationary status, Helton must pay all court costs and fines in full by Feb. 8.

Katherine J. Koning, 22, charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a revoked license, was sentenced to six months ETHRA supervised probation with 15 days confinement. Koning was given credit for a total 13 days jail time already served.

Adam W. Long, 35, charged with driving under the influence and simple possession of a schedule VI drugs, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with four days confinement. Long was given credit for four days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and was ordered to complete the MADD Victim Impact Panel. His driver’s license is revoked for one year.

Jessica L. Buell, 40, charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the financial responsibility law, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days TDOC BOPP supervised probation with 38 days confinement. Buell was given credit for 38 days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and attend the DUI School. Buell must complete at least 90 days in an inpatient program and will remain in custody until she is accepted. She must complete the MADD Victim Impact Panel and attend DUI School. Her driver’s license is revoked for one year. This case runs concurrently with a criminal court case.

Kenthertan J. Brown, 49, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with two days confinement. Brown was given credit for 29 hours served at the time of arrest. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and was ordered to attend the MADD Victim Impact Panel. Her driver’s license is revoked per the Dept. of Safety.

Arnulfo L. Lopez, 49, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with two days confinement. Lopez was given credit for any jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and was ordered to attend the MADD Victim Impact Panel. His driver’s license is revoked for one year.
