A longtime Citizens Bank employee is celebrating a major milestone.

This year marks 50 years that Kathryn Love has been with the company.

“On behalf of the Citizens Bank team, we wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Kathryn for this significant milestone,” said Kenneth V. Jones, president/CEO of Citizens Bank. “Employees such as Kathryn have been key contributors to our company’s success, and we appreciate their selfless service over the years.”

To celebrate her retirement later this month, the bank will host a celebration on Dec. 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the lobby of the main office at Citizens Bank in New Tazewell.

Everyone is invited to stop by to share your memories with her and to help the bank celebrate and appreciate Love for her dedication and service to Citizens Bank, as well as the community, for the past 50 years.

Love, also known as “The Bank Lady,” would like to visit with as many students and teachers as possible since they have played such a monumental role in her career. Refreshments will be served.
