The Claiborne Grand Jury has returned several indictments during its 2018 term. Stacy Dwayne Patterson, 37, was indicted on one count of reckless homicide allegedly occurring on April 5 of last year.

A true bill was returned on Robert Scalf, 40, indicted on one count each of aggravated assault and coercion of a witness, during incidents allegedly occurring on Dec. 25 and Feb. 8.

Robert Michael Patti, 54, was indicted on one count of aggravated robbery during an incident allegedly occurring on Feb. 4.

The grand jury indicted James David McDonald, 51, on one count of driving under the influence (third offense) during an incident allegedly occurring on Sept. 29. McDonald was previously convicted of driving drunk on June 18, 2015 and on Dec. 4, 2000.

A true bill was returned on James Strouth, 30, on one count each of driving under the influence, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia during incidents allegedly occurring on Oct. 4.

Samantha Cooper, 34, was indicted on one count each of driving under the influence and violation of the implied consent law during incidents allegedly occurring on Sept. 28.

The grand jury indicted Jesse Douglas Rosenbalm, 31, on one count of driving under the influence during an incident allegedly occurring on March 10 of last year.

On a separate true bill, Rosenbalm was indicted for one count of possession of drug paraphernalia during an incident allegedly occurring on Aug. 8.

Danny Ray Cook, 52, was indicted on one count of manufacturing and cultivating in excess of 20 marijuana plants during an incident allegedly occurring on June 20.

An indictment does not indicate guilt. An indictment does indicate that the grand jury found enough evidence to warrant sending the case to trial.
