Cumberland Gap High School’s Panther Productions recently presented Les Misérables, a sung-through musical based on the novel by French poet and novelist Victor Hugo. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit, according to the official website. Allison Manning is the CGHS theater arts teacher who supervises the productions. Here, the cast gathers for the musical’s ending.
